Dear Mary,
Just a note to let you know my whereabouts. Well I have had the rotten luck to be sent down here and my word it is a change No more nice tasty meals. No more nice nurses to tease and a lot more nice things missing. This is a military place & everything tastes military The town is not bad but it is no use going into it without plenty of money. It is a seaside town & a big holiday resort so that it is always pretty lively but the camp is a rotten place and I wont stick it very long. Well I have not much news to give you so write soon. Love from Doddo
