Dear Mary,
Probably there is a letter from you at the Battalion but you see I have now shifted to a better climate although I was not very willing to leave the Coy. I am just now working in the orderly room here clerking. I don’t know how long it will last but I hope until the warm weather comes in. There seems to be a very long time since I heard from you There is now six days since I came here & of course I had no letters as yet and did not get any away until today. This is my address so please write soon & you can also give my address to Phemie. We are not in a big town only a village but not so bad. I have no more news just now so write soon.
Love from Dodo
